FOUNDATION LINE HOLIDAY 2008

LOGO TEE [ NOT PICTURED ]

Doom

An apocalypse is any universal disaster, a prophetic revelation, or prophecy involving a cataclysm where the forces of good permanently triumph over evil. This scene depicts the end result of ultimate destruction in the face of war and chaos. If we are to struggle in wars and savor in dictatorships, be biased and unwavering, unjust and unfair, doom is the definitive consequence. The shirt reads “Your fate his hands” and as long as humanity keeps relying on devastation and force to gain control, our fate is in the hands of a chaotic end.

Hercules

Hercules

Hercules was born half-god, half-mortal. He was sent to live on earth to prove his worth in hopes of earning his place to stand side-by-side with the Greek gods. At his last moments of life in battle, Hercules transforms into his immortal form, thus reaching his goal of being something better than he already was. The shirt fittingly reads “No one ever really dies” and symbolically as Hercules has shown, after working hard and making one’s mark, no one ever really does.

Balance of War

The mighty Goddess of War, Athena, acts as a scale of justice weighing out both halves of the world. The shirt reads “The fate of the world lies in the balance of war”. In all irony, war is never fair, and war is never balanced. This plays into current political power struggles of superiority and inferiority. Someone’s always got to be better than someone else, and everyone always seems to think they’re right. If the fate of the world continues to be decided by conflict, then in the end we just end up destroying half of ourselves.
